Paint Ball Target Practice allows participants and family/caregivers the opportunity to shoot a paint ball gun at a big target. Some were able to hit the bull's eye, but all were able to hit the target. Dwanna Zyla came from Wimberley, Texas, to direct the event. Stephen and John Turner, and their family, came and helped. Everyone have a wonderful time. They washed the big target off with a hose that the Wildwood Fire Department had set-up. This kept some of them running back and forth so the shooters would have a clean target.
It was a lot of fun, so make plans to come next May 17, 2008, and enjoy a fun day in the sun!

Paintball is only a small part of Wildwood Sports Day, but it has a vital role as each event does. Many of the physically challenged youth and adults that attend Sports Day have trouble with muscle control and would never have an opportunity to hit a target with a paintball gun or anything like it. It also gives them a feeling of power and strength, which has been greatly lacking in their lives. They experience a great thrill when they hit the target and visually see a big bright pink, yellow, or red blast of paint hit the bull's eye!  Dwanna Zyla
